Dr. Becky Mann "Dr. Becky" is a Radford native. She graduated from James Madison University and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Alabama-Birmingham. Becky is a favorite of parents and kids alike. Dr. Becky is one of only 2 optometrists in southwest Virginia certified as a low-vision examiner by Virginia Department of Visually Handicapped. She has special interest in children's vision, specialty contact lenses and sub-normal vision. She is married to Dr. Scott Mann and together they have 3 sons Michael, William and Mark.

Dr. Jon Gudeman grew up in Illinois and Western New York State. After spending all those winters buried in the snow, he was happy to move a bit further south. Upon receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 1996, he and his wife Abbe moved to the Roanoke Valley. They are the proud parents of three children: Joshua, Lily and Sophia.

Dr. Gudeman joined the Salem Invision office in 2001. His areas of interest include ocular disease management, children's vision, and contact lens fitting. He especially enjoys a challenging contact lens fit.


Dr. Scott Mann is a Lynchburg native, graduate of Lynchburg College and the University of Alabama School of Optometry. An avid sports fan, he is the official team Optometrist for Radford University (with Dr. Becky Mann); the Salem Avalanche Baseball Team, a Houston Astros affiliate; and consults with student-athlete trainers at Roanoke College. He has 3 boys with wife, Dr. Becky Mann. He is also a guest lecturer for: Radford University student athletic trainers, Roanoke College student athletic trainers, RU Nurse Practitioners (eye disease), Roanoke School Nurse Association (child's vision) and numerous local civic organizations.
