Slit Lamp
Haag-Streit's biomicroscope is an important instrument. It provides high-powered precision magnification (up to 40x) to look for eye diseases including cataracts, dry eye, eye infections, foreign objects and injuries. This detail helps us detect eye problems earlier and with greater accuracy. It's also invaluable for exact contact lens fitting.
Condensing lenses
Condensing lenses by Haag-Streit in Switzerland are used with the biomicroscope to view the retina, optic nerve, blood vessels and macula (central retina) in 3-D.
Chair-side Digital Imaging
Topcon's system documents images of eye problems to assist in disease management. These images also help our patients better understand their diagnosis and treatment plans. Spouses, parents and guests can "see what the doctor sees" in real time.
